CMOS Camera

Technologically, the MEKRA camera systems of the 100000 series feature a particularly high level of development. Instead of conventional CCD sensors, which are prone to overexposure / glare effects (blooming) and misrepresentation of overexposed areas (smearing), CMOS sensors are used here, which consume less power and achieve the light sensitivity of conventional CCD cameras through optimal configuration. 

An aluminum die-cast housing in combination with a special seal and potted connection cable guarantee the absolute tightness of the camera according to protection class IP 69 K. This makes the camera ideally suited for permanent submersion and for cleaning with high-pressure / steam cleaners. 

The camera systems also meet the requirements of the ADR, which is necessary for use in certain transport units with hazardous goods.
