Platinum Status for Outstanding Delivery Quality and On-Time Delivery
The MEKRA Lang Group has been awarded Platinum Status - the highest distinction in the British vehicle manufacturer’s supplier evaluation program - by its long-standing customer Dennis Eagle Ltd. The award recognizes outstanding performance in the areas of on-time delivery and quality.
Dennis Eagle Ltd., based in Warwick, England, specializes in the development and manufacture of refuse collection vehicles. The company and the MEKRA Lang Group have maintained a close partnership for approximately 20 years. MEKRA Lang is the exclusive and sole supplier of mirrors and mirror systems for Dennis Eagle’s vehicles.
In March 2025, Dennis Eagle introduced a supplier evaluation program for the first time. Companies are recognized in four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The evaluation is based on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery and product quality.
MEKRA Lang received the highest “Platinum” award for the year 2025. The decisive factor for this special honor was the company’s outstanding performance during the evaluation period from July to December 2025. During this period, 99.5 percent of all deliveries were made on time. At the same time, the defect rate was less than 1.25 complaints per thousand units delivered.
The award underscores MEKRA Lang’s high quality standards and reliability as a partner to the international commercial vehicle industry. It is also the result of the daily commitment of employees in the areas of development, production, quality assurance, and logistics.
As a token of appreciation, Dennis Eagle presented the MEKRA Lang Group with a special thank-you package for its achievements. The award was also celebrated within the company: Together with managing partner Susanne Lang, the employees who contributed to the success gathered for a Weißwurst breakfast. The focus was on the outstanding team performance and the collective contribution to this success.
The Platinum Award confirms the successful and trusting collaboration between the two companies and sends a strong signal regarding the continuation of the long-standing partnership at the highest level of performance.
