It’s official: MEKRA Lang has been named one of “Germany’s Most Innovative Companies 2026” in the automotive supplier category. The study was conducted by DEUTSCHLAND TEST in collaboration with ServiceValue GmbH and published in FOCUS, issue 25/26. MEKRA Lang took second place.

The study proves that innovative strength is not a matter of company size. It is an accolade that shows: We don’t just keep refining our products—we set new standards.

MEKRA Lang is best known for its mirror systems. But there is much more to the company than that. MEKRA Lang develops camera-monitor systems, sensor technology, and the corresponding software to create integrated system solutions for commercial vehicles. Today, the electronics division in particular is the company’s strongest driver of innovation. But MEKRA Lang also excels in the field of traditional mirrors—backed by a multitude of patents. The combination of traditional mirror technology and modern electronics is thus at the heart of an innovative strength that has now been independently confirmed.

The company explicitly views the award as a team achievement—the result of the daily work of the development, production, and all other departments at the site and beyond.
