On May 9, 2026, MEKRA Lang’s Training and Experience Day took place in Ergersheim under perfect weather conditions. Visitors took the opportunity to learn about training and career opportunities at the leading manufacturer of vision systems for commercial vehicles and to gain exciting insights into the company.

In the administration bistro, MEKRA Lang presented a total of 15 apprenticeship programs across seven different fields. Apprentices and employees were on hand for one-on-one discussions about apprenticeships, dual study programs, and internships.

A special highlight this year were the guided tours of the active production floor, where guests gained authentic insights into modern manufacturing processes. The M+E Infotruck in the parking lot in front of Lang Technics also drew great interest. There, visitors could try out modern technology and receive career guidance from experts.

The Vision Truck also offered the opportunity to experience the company’s Digital Mirror Replacement System (DVS) live during test drives. The event was complemented by a VR application and an exhibition featuring various departments.

A varied program was also offered for children and families in the parking lot in front of Lang Technics. Refreshments were also well provided for.

In the raffle, all visitors also had the chance to win a Fujifilm Instax instant camera worth over 150 euros.
