On May 6, 2026, the MEKRA Lang Group welcomed the mayors of the A7 Franken West Municipal Alliance to its Ergersheim facility. The purpose of the visit was to discuss regional development, innovation, and close collaboration between business, local governments, and politics.

Managing Partner Susanne Lang kicked off the event by welcoming the guests. In her opening remarks, she shared personal insights into the company’s history and development and highlighted the values that continue to shape the MEKRA Lang Group’s corporate culture to this day.

Under the motto “High Tech from Ergersheim,” CTO Bernd Dehner then spoke about innovation and transformation within the company. It became clear that technological progress and the willingness to break new ground have always been firmly anchored in the DNA of the MEKRA Lang Group.

During the subsequent company tours, visitors gained insights into various business divisions and modern manufacturing processes. Among others, Lang Technics, electronics production, plastics technology, and mirror assembly were showcased. In addition, the mayors were able to learn about state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions from the field of view experts.
